CURRENTY IN PRODUCTION
• "Cirque du Freak, " a fantasy adventure sin production in New Orleans. Set to shoot through June 1. A young boy named Darren Shan meets a mysterious man at a freak show who turns out to be a Vampire. After a series of events Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire.
Starring: Selma Hayek, John C Reilly, Jane Krakowski, Ken Watanabe, Patrick Fugit
• "Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal, " a TV movie for USA in production in Harahan. Set to shoot through March 14. Five high school cheerleaders, including the daughter of the school principal, run amok -- and teachers, parents and administrators allow them to get away with a wide range of scandalous behavior. Know as the "fab five," the girls disregard school rules, drink alcohol and post suggestive pictures on the Internet. But when the new cheerleading coach attempts to discipline them, her superiors ask her to resign. The real version of the events took place in McKinney, Texas, a Dallas suburb, and received national media attention in 2006.

• "Open Road, " a feature film in production in Hammond and Baton Rouge. Set to shoot through March. Movie centers on the adult son of a baseball legend who, together with his girlfriend, embarks on a road trip with his estranged father.
Starring: Justin Timberlake, Jeff Bridges, Mary Steenburgen, Harry Dean Stanton, Kate Mara
• "The Librarian (3): Curse of the Judas Chalice, " a TV movie for USA starring Noah Wyle, in production in Harahan. Occasional shoots in areas like the Quarter. Set to shoot from March 1 to 31.
Starring: Noah Wyle, Bob Newhart, Jane Curtin, Bruce Davison
• "Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!" a Disney TV movie, in preproduction in Harahan. Set to shoot March 12 to 19. When Frank moves to Rust River, Missouri to live with his cousin Jess, the mismatched duo bond over their love for racing monster trucks.
Starring: Andrew Caldwell, E.E. Bell
• "Robosapien, " a feature film in preproduction in New Orleans. Set to shoot March 24 to April 25. A robot boy and a human boy team up to save their respective parents, who are being held captive by the organization that funded the robot's creator.
Starring: Holliston Coleman (only known cast member)
• "Patriots, " a Weinstein Co. film sin preproduction in Metairie. Set to shoot April 4 to June 1. A year after Hurricane Katrina, Al Collins, a high school basketball coach in Marrero, Louisiana, assembles a team of players who had previously attended five different schools before the disaster and leads them on the path to the state championships.

• "Chess, " a feature film ain preproduction in New Orleans. Set to shoot April 7 to May 16. The life story of legendary record producer Leonard Chess, founder of Chess Records, the label that helped popularize Blues music during the 1950s and '60s.
Starring: Alessandro Nivola, Jon Abrahams, David Oyelowo
• "12 Rounds, " Detective Danny Baxter is about to have the worst day of his life when an evil crime lord kidnaps his girlfriend and forces him to go "12 Rounds" around the streets of New Orleans.

• "Final Destination 4, " After a teen's premonition of a deadly race-car crash helps saves the lives of his peers, Death sets out to collect those who evaded their end. Feature film the 4th in the series,
